Stamford's Tania Bailey will captain the England Ladies squash team at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi this October.
Bailey, 30, will be aiming for gold after winning a silver medal in the ladies doubles at the 2002 games in Manchester and a bronze in Melbourne in 2006.
The world number 32 is looking forward to the Commonwealth Games after an injury hit season: "I am delighted to have been selected."
"I love playing for my country and I can't wait to go to Delhi. I have also been chosen to captain the team which is a great honour.
"I have had a really good few months of training and I am feeling the strongest I have for a long time. I have been managing my injuries really well and I have been able to increase my training week by week."
"It is great that the coaches have stuck by me over the last few years when injuries have really hampered my squash." |
