Today is transfer deadline day in the UK, the date when professional teams across the country have one last 24-hour period to sign a player to help them achieve their aims over the rest of the season.
This window has already been one of the most exciting and today is the day when teams race to get deals over the line ahead of the cut-off point at 11pm later tonight (Tue 31st Jan 2023).
With bet365 Sport now offering odds of 40/1 or greater for 18 of the 20 Premier League teams to win the title (only Arsenal at 8/11 and Manchester City at 5/4 are a shorter price), will the moves made over the course of the window, including those rushed through today, have a positive impact for teams chasing the top two?
Or will the top two make moves to cement their place at the top of the Outright Market betting and see us through a two-horse race over the second half of the season?
Let’s now take a closer look at the big deals that have already been agreed or which are reportedly set to go through on transfer deadline day involving teams in the Premier League.
